Life of Crime, based on Elmore Leonard‘s novel The Switch, stars Aniston as an unhappy housewife in the 1970s who is kidnapped by a couple of amateur crooks (John Hawks and Mos Def). Things go awry when her cheating real estate developer husband (Tim Robbins) doesn’t jump to pay the $1 million ransom.

Rounding out the cast are Isla FisherWill Forte and Sons of Anarchy‘s Mark Boone Junior.


After the screening, Aniston and Theroux hit the post-screening party at The Argyle, where they mingled for about an hour before taking off.


Directed by Daniel Schechter, the film hits theaters and will be available on iTunes and VOD on Aug. 29.
